A rare gemstone leaf, hand carved of Peruvian opal and framed in hand forged antiqued copper, creates a stunning focal piece for our rustic chain necklace, designed for the woman who love a natural, neutral, earthy palette, boho style and woodland statement jewelry.
The unusual stone leaf is a hard to find semi-precious gem, ivory cream color with a distinctive earthy tone brown streak which accents the warm patina of the copper. Its dimensions are approximately 1 inch long by .75 inch wide (about 25mm x 20mm).
Approximately 2.25 inches (62mm) long from the top of our twisted connector link, the pendant is a slider, easily removed to be worn on a cord, a ribbon, a necklace beaded with small stones, or perhaps with a different chain.
Holding the richly oxidized copper cable chain, our matching hammered hook and eye clasp repeats the graceful curves of the primitive metalwork frame and, if worn at the front accents and complements the pendant.
Including the clasp, the necklace is 18 inches long, an ever fashionable princess length.
Don't forget, the opal is the October birthstone.
This necklace will also be lovely for a bohemian wedding, jewelry for the bride, maid of honor and bridesmaids, so please contact us ahead of time if you need more than one.
